Help make a difference for children by studying what we do now in our community compared to what we want to do and where we want to go.
Dear Community Partners,
Tranquil Parenting™ will facilitate web space and arrange meetings for a focus group that includes persons from our community in positions to refer and parents concentrating on creating a movement that includes effective thinking, effective action, effective relationships to achieve effective accomplishments, (Reigeluth, Beatty, & Myers, 2017 p 131-136). Research questions and answers posed in a critical nature created using the Gap Analysis method to find interventions to move from the current defined Actual State of Performance to the newly found Desired Performance utilizing the Human Performance Technology (HPT) model, (Pemberton, Hoskins, and Boninti, 2011, p7).
Focus group participants, please watch the videos posed below prior to practicing critique and analytics efforts within the focus groups.
- Effective Achievement
- Human Performance Technology
- Parenting Style Scale
- Separated Parenting Style Scale
Focus groups will decide on controls, variables, collect data via surveys, observations, decide what the norm is now and what we as a community want to do during this movement to provide unique opportunities for parents while sharing the list of current available resources.
As advancement moves into the wonderful opportunity towards development of the program, (my prospectus, dissertation and case study research phase of my PhD), I have chosen to take a sabbatical from instruction of the Tranquil Parenting program to ensure reliability and trustworthiness of the studies beginning October 31, 2021. Focus group, parent interviews, and journal registrations will be open after IRB approval. New parenting instruction reservations will be open for January 1st, 2023.
The purpose of this case study is to understand the perceived effectiveness of various aspects of curriculum design (substantive content, in person learning, and remote learning) for learners who have completed parenting instruction of a program. At this stage in the research, the central phenomenon of the study is parents' self-efficacy within a parental instructional program. The problem will be generally defined as improving self-efficacy within a parental instructional program through curriculum design and implementation.
The progress and end results will be documented here. The estimated end timeline is also January 1st, 2023.
An explanation of the referral program, listing of local providers and this focus group’s efforts may be found online.
Resources for the focus group can be found on the google drive. Link to the files will be emailed to participants. If you would like to add documents, email them to Sonja@tranquilstudio.org.

According to (Reigeluth, Beatty, & Myers, 2017 p131-136)., effective accomplishments come from identifying characters within the effective thinking, effective action, effective relationships and effective accomplishment sectors.
The focus groups will break down which characters within the subsets are the most valuable for the new movement, compare the current available options and paths for parents to select from compared where parents are on the separated parenting style scale. An explanation of the referral program, listing of local providers and this focus group’s efforts may be found on the referral list page.
